Primary Co-Curricular

The enthusiastic Year 3/4/5 Cricket Team performed well in their first competitive match.

Primary Co-Curricular

The previous weekend marked the beginning of the summer season for the Primary teams.

The Year 6/7 cricket team struggled against Rostrevor.  Bowling and fielding is an area that requires some work from all reports.

The Year 3/4/5 cricket team saw many boys play their first ever game of cricket for the school.  The enthusiastic boys performed well in their first competitive match.  St Andrew’s were too strong, but there was a lot to like about the way in which the boys 'had a go' and didn’t back away from more experienced opponents.

The Kanga Cricket also got underway.  An enthusiastic group travelled to Prospect Oval and played in the modified format.  Special thanks to Sebastian from Year 7 for assisting Miss Schwidder with the team.

Mr Vo’s B1 tennis team comprehensively defeated St Andrew’s in a dominant display.  All players had a win in either the doubles or singles and showed some good skills.

The Year 4/5 tennis team, many of whom were playing their first game of tennis, battled against more seasoned opposition from Westminster who won easily.  Our boys would have learned some new skills and rules in their first outing.

Finally, a reminder that all fixtures and maps are posted in the Co-Curricular tab of the SEQTA portal. Parents are also reminded that training is cancelled if the forecast temperature is 35 degrees or above.
