DVD Orders
A DVD of the production will be available for purchase for $25 and order forms have been sent to every participating child. These order forms and payment need to be returned to our school office by no later than Friday 28th September 2018. Please note NO LATE ORDERS will be taken after this date .

Share the Spirit of Youth
Share the Spirit of Youth will be held on Thursday 27th September 2018 at TRECC commencing at 7 pm. Students from five of our local Catholic Schools will be performing on the evening. Tickets to this spectacular are now available for purchase and we welcome all our families to come along to support this event. Tickets may be purchased online at www.entertainmentvenues.com.au, over the phone 67662028 or through Tamworth Capitol Theatre. Adults $25 Children $18. We look forward to sharing this night with our families, Parish and local communities as the students and staff showcase their talents!

Combined Dance & Choir Practice
Just a reminder to those students in the Combined Dance & Choir performance that our last and final rehearsal is on Tuesday 18th September from 4pm - 5pm at St Edward's School Multi -Purpose Hall. These performances are coming together beautifully and it's an absolute joy watching the children across all our different Catholic schools working together and having fun. Thank you to Karen Dickie and Kellie Grant for choreographing the dances. Thank you to Julie McGuirk and Jule Helen George for their wonderful efforts with the choir.
NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTION
Paper copies of the newsletter are available for collection at the front office each Thursday afternoon after 2.00pm. If you would prefer a paper copy then ask your child to collect one from the front office before leaving school.

Orientation Day
Please be advised that the date of the McCarthy Catholic College Orientation Day for Year 7 2019 has had to be changed due to a clash with a Year 6 excursion.
The new date is 3 December 2018. Parents will be notified of the change from McCarthy.
More details regarding Orientation Day will be published closer to the date.

ST NICHOLAS MUGGERS
We are the St Nicholas Muggers! Each week on Friday we have begun a little initiative where we "mug" a staff member and get to acknowledge them on behalf of all students, for all their hard work here at school. It is a way for us as students to show our gratitude and appreciation. Each "mugee" receives a coffee mug filled with assorted goodies and a citation thanking them for the many extra tasks and jobs they do besides teaching ! So far we have successfully "mugged" Mrs Dickie for all her fantastic work with STEAM and our SRC, and Mrs Tyrrell for all her fantastic work with sport in our school at every level. Who will our next "mugee" be? Stay tuned and we will enadevour to keep you posted!

The Infants STEAM lunch group placed some entries into the Tamworth Show with Fred Tyler receiving a second place, Indy Single third place and Jacob Smith highly commended. Congratulations to all the students who competed in individual events over the two days.
