BOOK FAIR items are STILL on their way. YIPPEE

THANK YOU .... THANK YOU ...

A massive thank you to the wonderful helpers during the BOOK FAIR WEEK. These ladies gave up and are still giving up their time as the orders trickle in. I witnessed them chatting to young students assisting them in coming to a final decision, not always an easy task. The assistance was very much appreciated. Thank you also to the teachers and Mrs Burke who stepped out of the office and classroom for a change of scenery to join us in mastering the sometimes not so compliant "beast"  that is the Eftpos machine.

LIBRARY LEADERS

These wonderful helpers, some of whom you saw practising their yoga poses with the help of a yoga book at the BOOK FAIR, were terrific in turning up each morning and break times donning their team lanyard and tidying, straightening and reorganising  shelves.  Thank you for your commitment to our wonderful space, your library.

TOWN LIBRARY VISIT

It's wonderful to hear from the Town Library librarians that St Nicholas students and their parents / carers have been visiting the Town Library, keep it up everyone. Great holiday activities to be advertised here soon or go to the Town Library website, http://www.cnl.nsw.gov.au.

Thank you to the PT&F for providing funds to purchase a number of audio books for students listening and enjoyment.  Featured in the photo is a group of students enjoying, 'The Bugalugs Bum Thief" author Tim Winton, narrator Stig Wemyss. 

Footnote: Stig Weymss is a hilarious narrator. So if you are looking for audiobooks check out the Town Library as it has a huge range of Stig Weymss narrated audio books.
