Year 8 Study Skills

All Year 8 students recently attended a study skills session run by Elevate Education about time management. The girls were shown how to set up a study timetable and the importance of including social and relaxation time as well as time for hobbies was emphasised. The session also covered how to use the timetable to make it successful, breaking tasks and assignments into manageable steps and the difference between revision and homework. Your daughter should have a study timetable from the session to show you!

Uniform Matters

Congratulations to the majority of Year 7s and 8s for wearing our uniform correctly and with pride. Please remind your daughter that she is not permitted to wear the sports jacket or rugby top throughout the day (unless she is wearing PE uniform in Year 7 and 8). Staff will keep these items for two weeks if girls do wear them. If students do not have full PE uniform on the days they have PE they need to come to school in the summer dress, bring alternative clothes for PE and a note for the PE teacher explaining why they are out of uniform.

Year 7 Camp

Year 7 camp is in full swing with 7ABC returning Wednesday and 7DEFG coming to the end of their time at Arrabri Lodge. So far there have been plenty of positive attitudes, enthusiasm and fun. A huge thank you must go to Mrs Petra Witt and Mr Steve Williams for their organisation of the camp. This is also extended to all staff who attended. It is a big sacrifice for staff to attend as they leave their families, prepare classes which will be missed and then be on duty caring for your daughters.

Thank you to the families who took the time to thank our staff.
