New operators, new menus

Welcome to Elynwood the new operators of our canteen. They commenced in our first week and quickly become a favourite with our students and staff. 

They are open school days at 8am to offer coffee, drinks and some breakfast food items. 

Recess and lunch orders can be placed in advance. There is a dedicated queue for pick up of lunch/recess orders which will eliminate the need to wait.

The menu has a wide variety of meal options, snacks and beverages and there are at least two daily specials each day.  Special needs diets such as vegetarian, gluten free and lactose intolerant can be catered for. If students or teachers require special needs foods, they can speak to the staff who will try to accommodate.

There is Tap and Go/eftpos facility on site so it streamlines payment and reduces wait times.

The menu includes:

MONDAY Pasta carbonara or vegetable lasagna $7

TUESDAY Southern style children $7

WEDNESDAY Thai chicken curry or Thai vegetable curry $7

THURSDAY Combination noodles or vegetable noodles $7

FRIDAY Chicken korma curry or vegetable korma curry $7

The international dishes change each term.

Coffee and hot drink choices 

The hot drink selection includes: hot chocolate, turmeric lattes, chai lattes, mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, long and short black coffees. They are available all day.  (A reminder that hot drink cannot be taken into class.)   

A loyalty cards is being introduced, so the 10th coffee is free.  Keep cups are for sale for $5 and anyone who brings their own cup in will save 50 cents per cup.
