The Shrine of Rememberance

Melbourne Legacy’s 88th ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony for students.

During April, three Year 10 students represented our school at the Melbourne Legacy’s 88th ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony. Ezekiel Buckland, Madison Olver and Emily Vincent went to the Shine of Remembrance to pay respect to those who have given their lives in service to our country. Throughout the ceremony we reflected on the sacrifices of the past to appreciate what we have today.

After the service students enjoyed a guided tour of the education centre and investigated the Galleries of Remembrance and the Sanctuary.

This experience reminded us of the importance of remembering history as we work towards a better future.
