Keeping Well during Term 2

A key priority for Box Hill High School during this transition to Remote Learning during Term 2 has been on ensuring that our school community are staying physically and mentally well. Now, more than ever, it is important that we are all able to be resilient, stay positive and connected to others. There are probably times when all of us may experience feelings of uncertainty or low mood during these unchartered times, and we know that many of our families have been impacted in a number of ways.

 

We would also like to thank our students and families for all the ways they are supporting and encouraging each other during this term, we are very proud of our students and want them to know that we are here to support them this term and when they return to school.

 

Our partnership with The Resilience Project this year has reinforced the benefits of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness (GEM) for maintaining our emotional wellbeing during these times. Some of our students have been keeping Gratitude Jars - see photo gallery below.
