The Principal's Pen
I recently attended an Australia wide conference focusing on 'Religious Freedom'. The speakers at the conference presented from a range of points of view - political, social, legal, educational - each one outlining some of the challenges Australia faces in this area. Christian schools are very involved in the nation's discussion about religious freedom and it was encouraging to see the calibre of people working on these issues.
At Cornerstone we have amazing freedom, granted by our College, by our government and ultimately by our God. Sometimes we don't see the freedom, we just see the limitations or rules imposed on us. The opening speaker at the conference asked a question that is worth considering: "Is a train that is free of its tracks truly free?"
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
