Changes are happening....

Our renovation project for the Administration Building starts on Monday 21 August - at last!!

The scope of the project is to replace the roof, gutter and drainage, replace the internal ceiling, upgrade the administration area, replace all the toilets, removal of the heavy sliding doors in the GP room and some cosmetic work to damaged windows and walls. We have already had removal of all asbestos and relining of sewer pipes done as part of this project.

 A reminder that:

* administration will be in the music room (by the basketball court)

* art  classes in the portable behind the senior building

* the staff room will be in the ELC corner room

* OSHClub will be in the gym office and foyer

* the ICT lab will be in the other portable behind the senior building

* the library will be closed

* students will have to use the ELC and gym toilets.

The remainder of the year will be a huge test of our collective resilience. Not only will we all be a bit crowded, but we will have to manage a work site close to the classrooms. It will be worthwhile when we have a revamped office, roof and student toilets!!

Jaguars Schoolaerobics Team

A massive congratulations to the Jells Park Jaguars Danceaerobics Team, and Miss Little, Mrs Hague and Miss Lakeman for their performance of the girls at the National Championships on the Gold Coast. The team continued to improve, finishing 3rd and winning the bronze medal. The whole school community is very proud of you.

The JPPC and the school community were able to raise $2200 to support these girls and their families, and provide for the staff to attend the event with the girls. Thank you everybody, particularly to the parents that cooked all the sausages on the Free Dress Day.
