D-PAWS PROGRAM

Sit, Stay, Heel
Ziggy has started her obedience training. She is attending Command Dog Training every chilly Wednesday evening and is learning some basic commands. Ziggy is able to sit and stay in that position for a little bit of time. She is learning how to walk correctly on her lead, how to interact with other dogs and is beginning to come when her name is called. We are all trying very hard to teach Ziggy not to jump up (although it is very difficult as she is so cute and cuddly).
A big thank you to Vanessa and Rohan Blake for given Ziggy another spa day. She looks much less scruffy and we can even see her eyes again! And also a big thank you to Jack Harrison in 6W for his present for Ziggy, the seat belt clip was exactly what we had been looking for to keep Ziggy safe on her commute to and from work.
We are very fortunate to have three community sponsors already and are always looking for more, so if you or anyone you know might be able to help please contact Miss McLeod at m.mcleod@jpps.vic.edu.au.
Families are also able to donate toward the cost of Ziggy's care through the Qkr app.
A huge thank you to Mulgrave Country Club for their generous donation towards Ziggy's training and food costs, Brandon Park Vet for their support of the program through free puppy classes and subsidized vet costs and to Waverley Park Dental Care for covering the costs of Ziggy's obedience training.
