UC 4 Yourself
Forty Cowra High students recently travelled to the University of Canberra for an open day. Students participated in a radio broadcast, a communications lecture and a session that allowed them to ask questions about uni life.
During the lunch break students wandered around university faculty stalls that were set up to pass on information about individual courses of interest. A guided tour of UC's accommodation followed where a variety of living quarters were showcased.
By the end of the UC Open Day (UC4 Yourself) had demystified tertiary study at university and students felt comfortable to include it in their future options.
