MATHS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Every second Tuesday, 28 enthusiastic year 7&8 students come together to work in the Maths enrichment program. The students are competing in the Australian Mathematics Trust Enrichment Program, which involves them attempting different problem solving style questions and working collaboratively to solve a variety of Mathematical problems. The types of questions vary from logic puzzles to tessellations to working with Numbers in different bases. Every week we are impressed with the Student’s enthusiasm and willingness to try new ideas and concepts and to work together collaboratively.
The program runs during terms 2&3 and we look forward to continuing to work with these willing and able students.

STEM CLUB
Every Monday lunchtime a small band of budding Scientists have been joining us for a variety of STEM Activities. We have made sherbet, done some coding, explored 3D printing, tested which vegetables make the best batteries and much more. Next term we are planning on doing some more 3D printing as well as exploring some different electronic kits and growing crystals. All are welcome – please come to M7 at lunchtime on Mondays or speak to Mrs. Hardy, Mr. Hunter or Mrs. Scott.

SPORT TERM 2
SENIOR BOYS NETBALL
Well done to the Senior boys netball team! We may not have taken any prizes but I hope you all enjoyed the day off and appreciate how hard the Senior girls worked with one player down and no subs (and no one needed bandaids)!
Thank you also to our wonderful coaches - Adelaide and Emily😊
