Mock Trial

Our winning streak continued this week as we had a convincing victory over Riverside Girls’ High School in a complex case about affray. In case you were wondering, affray is similar to assault, but has to involve physical violence, rather than the threat of it. It was made more complicated by the fact that the defendant claimed to be acting in self-defence.

It was another epic effort on the students’ part, but their hard work paid off. I would like to thank Jasper Choi, Connor Foung, Phillip Cullen, Hunter Clarke, Tom Findlay and Nikita Papastamatis for their fantastic effort.

Parent Focus Group on Learning - Have Your Say!

Tuesday 13th June at 1.00pm

At St Pius X College we have been working hard on creating a Learning Framework about what learning looks like here and how we can make it even better. We would love to get your views as parents on this, as you are an integral part of your son’s education and we want to work in partnership with you.

Year Group, Individual, Performing Arts and Group Photos 2017

These photos will be taken on Friday 10th June starting with the Year Group photos. All students need to be wearing their complete Winter Uniform including their blazers for each photo. Students must also have their ID card. Order forms will be given out for the Year Group photos during Homeroom and must be brought in on the day of the photos. For all other Group Photos, there will be an Order Form that the students can pick up on the day.

The Sacrament of Confirmation - St Mark's Drummoyne

Parents who reside in the parish of St Mark’s Drummoyne are welcome to enrol their children who are in Years 6, 7 and above for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Enrolment letters are available in the Church foyer or from the Parish Office from 2nd June 2017.  Enrolments close on 23rd June 2017 and the preparation sessions commence when third term starts.  The celebration Masses are Saturday 6.00pm on 26th August and Sunday 9.00am Mass on 27th August.
