Diocesan Carnival
Last Friday the 26th of May 43 O'Connor students traveled to Gunnedah for Diocesan Cross Country and Tennis. Many thanks to Miss Camilla Clydsdale, Mr James Russell and Mr Mark Honeysett for accompanying the team. Well done to all students who completed the course. All students were extremely well behaved and are commended on their behaviour, attitude and presentation. Congratulations to the following students who have made the Armidale Diocese Cross Country Team. Please let your Sports Coordinator Miss Clydsdale know whether or not you intend on competing at NSWCCC Cross Country on the 16th of June. Best of luck :)

NSWCCC Cross Country 2017
Congratulations on being selected to compete at the 2017 NSWCCC Cross Country Championships. Your next step is to register for this event. You MUST register by Wednesday June 7th or you will be ineligible to compete. Your School Sport Coordinator should have given you information on how to register.
Date: Friday 16th June 2017
Time: 7.30am - 3.00pm
Venue: Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek

Travel and accommodation are the responsibility of Parents/Guardians.
All competitors must wear the Diocesan singlet available at a cost of $20. This is the same singlet as previous years and is also used for athletics. An optional Diocesan Polo Shirt is also available at a cost of $30.

All students must pay the Diocesan Levy of $60 plus any additional costs for uniform.
All payments are to be made to your school by Wednesday 14th June 2017.

All students MUST be registered by Wednesday 7th June otherwise students will not be allowed to compete in this event. Once registered parents will need to consent to their child attending the NSWCCC Selection otherwise they will not receive all the required information.

Tennis
On Friday, the O'Connor tennis squad consisting of; the Dennehy's, the Maurer lads, Kareena Dawson, Noah L'Hostis, Sam Walker and Sam Davis travelled to Gunnedah to compete in the Diocesan Tennis.
All played well, with Sahra (2 from 2 in singles), Connor and Sam Davis (2 from 3 in singles) being the pick of the crop. The younger boys improved with each game and all should be proud of their efforts.
