Grab-and-Go Cover Books with Contact

Thank you for your support Parents! Boxes of new library books were collected and taken home to be covered with contact. Also thanks to Inger, our wonderful Librarian, who arranged and prepared all the contact and books in such an organised way. I am sure those parents will enjoy covering books with contact during the school holidays. Take a picture and share it with us on Instagram  #syndalsouthprimaryschool.

PA Meetup Online

Our next PA Meetup will be on 24th April (Friday) from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. We understand that social gatherings may still be a concern, therefore we are either moving our meetup to another date or moving it online. We will further update you on Compass. If you would like to receive our meetup agenda and invitation, please join our PA mailing list. Simply send an email to us pa@syndalsp.vic.edu.au

Read/Listen During School Holidays

As mentioned by Helen in the previous issue of the Rocket, our school has a subscription to TumbleBookLibrary and we can access it at home www.TumbleBookLibrary.com. It is a fantastic resource for our children during school holidays.

You may also try an audiobook option too - Audible Stories - https://stories.audible.com/start-listen. This is an audio book website that you can just use it without installation and downloading, no need to register and it's free.

Sharing Tips and Love

Parents Association is sending our love to all families and sharing some tips for coping with stress as well as helping our children to cope with stress during the current situation.

We understand that staying home with children can be very challenging. Don't just focus on your children, focus on yourself too. Creating a routine could help you better manage your time and daily operation, thus better manage your emotions. Here are some references for you.

Please be positive and stay healthy. Be kind and support each other. If you have any questions or need any support at all, please reach out to our school or contact us at pa@syndalsp.vic.edu.au. We are all together.

Have a safe and happy school holiday.

Cheers
