Black Dog Resource

Libby our school counsellor has provided the following tool kit from The Black Dog Institute to share with our school community. It has lots of helpful tips around supporting both students and ourselves as adults during this tumultuous period. 

Tell Them from Me Survey

The 'Tell them from Me' Parent survey is now open for our parent community to complete. The survey is created by the Department's Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation (CESE) and designed to give schools an authentic perception of their parent communities attitudes and perspectives. The school is always looking for ways to improve it's collaboration and your insights are deeply valued, but it particularly this year as the school will be entering into a new planning cycle in 2021. Some of the questions are framed more towards a mainstream school environment, but you do have the option of leaving specific questions blank. Responses are anonymous and the whole survey takes around 10-15 minutes to complete. If you could take the time to complete the survey it would be greatly appreciated.

Parent/Carer Library

We are in the process of building a resource library for our parent community. We have started to collect a number of titles on teen mental health, education and supporting teens as parents. They are located in the bookshelf in the waiting area of the front office. Feel free to peruse and borrow these books.
