Year 12 Leadership

The start to 2020 has, as is often the case, been very lively at PCW.  Starting with flurry for Music Festival, it has been closely followed by the Swimming Carnival and Welcome Mass, and the Year 12 Formal and Athletics Carnival are coming up.  We took the opportunity last week to gather the Year 12 girls together to congratulate them on the manner in which they were leading the school thus far; being the best that they could be, whilst ensuring the spirit and involvement of the students remains high.  2020 presents some challenges; however, the manner in which our senior students have approached the year with a level head, joy and enthusiasm that inspires others is to be commended.  We are in good hands.

Athletics Carnival

The Athletics Carnival will be held next Friday, 6 March. This year, it is being held at the Sandringham Athletics Track, on Glamis Avenue in Hampton.  It is on the Sandringham Train Line (Hampton Station) and we will have staff directing girls to the track from there.  We ask that all students arrive at the track by 8.30am.  It is a 15 minute walk from the station, so if using public transport some planning will need to be done.  There will also be staff leaving PCW at 8.05 to catch the train; any student who would prefer to travel with a staff member is welcome to do so and will need to be at the school by 8.00am.  It is thought that the day will conclude at about 1.30pm.
