Foundation

The Foundation children have settled in nicely as the youngest members of the Rangeview School Community. All Foundation classes attended a whole school assembly in Week 2, giving them the opportunity to experience sitting with the Level 1-6 students. We were very proud at how well they settled in a room with over 600 students, staff, family and friends.

Foundation classes have met with their Level 5/6 Buddy class, establishing relationships with our senior students for fun learning activities. The Buddy program will continue throughout the year, and parents will soon be notified of their child’s buddy’s name. The buddy program ensures our youngest students are supported in the playground and around the school by older students, who enjoy the responsibility of looking out for their little buddy.

Our specialist programs are in full swing, and the Foundation classes have been enjoying attending Visual Arts, Music, Physical Education, Library and German classes.
