At LPPS we are extremely lucky to have Mr David 'Pa' Isted volunteering at our Library (Jaxon Yr 1 & James Yr 3). Mr Isted has covered hundreds of our new books which means they are on our shelves in record time for the students to borrow and enjoy. He also regularly repairs our books that students place into our 'Book Hospital'. Mr Isted has a passion for books and reading and has his own home library of books. We are so grateful for the huge amount of work he does to make our Library the wonderful place it is. Next time you see Mr Isted carrying books to and from the Library give him a smile and a big THANK YOU!
Premiers' Reading Challenge
Thank you to our Library Leaders who have delivered their first report at Assembly last Friday on the PRC - they did a wonderful job! Here is what they reported:
This term we are all participating in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge. To meet the Challenge Prep to Year 2 must read 30 challenge books and Year 3 to Year 6 must read 15 books.
So far together as a school we have read and logged 3782 BOOKS

library.langwarrinparkps.vic.edu.au is our Library search website listing every single book on our shelves along with Clickview videos. Instructions on how to log your child into this page are located on the home page, however families can browse without a login too. In this space you can view your child/ren's current loans, loan history, write book reviews, reserve books, and create a reading list. In the Quicklists tab is a Premiers' Reading Challenge tab which lists all the Challenge books in our library. Have a look it's lots of fun!
