REPORTS

T2 2023

Each year teachers provide a written report in Term 2 and Term 4. The report outlines your child’s progress against the Australian Curriculum Standards in 8 learning areas and subjects using A to E Grades. A ‘C’ grade indicates that your child is achieving at the expected standard. Our teachers do a great job of describing what your child has achieved, their growth and also areas for next steps or development and ways you can assist. Please note that Reception children do not receive an A-E grade and some students who have modified curriculum adjustments will have a descriptive report in line with their individualised One Plans.

The following identifies word equivalents for A to E grades for use in department schools:

A.      Your child is demonstrating excellent achievement of what is expected at this year level
B.     Your child is demonstrating good achievement of what is expected at this year level
C.      Your child is demonstrating satisfactory achievement of what is expected at this year level
D.     Your child is demonstrating partial achievement of what is expected at this year level
E.      Your child is demonstrating minimal achievement of what is expected at this year level

Your child’s report will be sent home on the last day of Term this year due to commitments around our 50th Birthday organisation and celebrations. If you have questions about your child’s grades and progress, please contact your child’s class teacher early in Term 3.
