PASTORAL CARE WORKER

T2 2023

As some of you my have heard at assembly today we will be collecting  items for Samaritan’s Purse so that people overseas who have never received a Christmas present before are able to receive one. A couple of years ago approximately 19 thousand shoe boxes were sent overseas from South Australia and Northern Territory, and ten and a half million from Australia. That’s a lot of shoe boxes! The most commonly asked question is where is my shoe box going? Even though this is a great question and lots of people as this. Even the staff in Australia don’t even know where your shoe box will end up. Some of the countries that have received them in the past include Fuji, Solomon Islands, and Pupa New Guinea just to name a few. If you wish to make a donation of a gift or a toy that will fit in the shoe box place it in the box located in Ms Kemp Office.  Student are to ask their teachers if they can drop items off in Ms Kemp office..
