My Heritage, Our Community

At LCS, we celebrate diversity of culture by being a united community of faith. Last Thursday, our school held 'My Heritage Day', where staff, parents and students were invited to dress in a way that represents their culture. It was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the campus during the day, as cultures and heritages were celebrated.

In the evening, our Senior School enjoyed delicious multi-cultural food made by staff and parents. This feast was unanimously considered by all as the highlight of the event, as students enjoyed a wide variety of cuisines that had been lovingly prepared for them.

Throughout the evening, students stayed warm by fire pots, and enjoyed hearing their talented peers perform live music. A large bonfire capped off this fantastic multi-cultural event.

A big thank you to all who contributed to this memorable and special day. Proceeds from these events will be going to the Migrant Resource Centre - MRC.
