Agreement form links have been emailed to all families and links can also be found on the Sentral Portal in 'School Resources'. Parents are asked to discuss these with their child/children and complete these online as soon as possible. Your support with this is much appreciated.
Lost property
We have a lot of lost property at the moment with the majority not labelled. Please ensure your label your child/s uniform to ensure it is returned to the correct student.
School Hats
Wembley Primary School is a SunSmart school and students are required to wear a broad brimmed school hat whilst in the playground between mid-August and April– this includes during recess and lunch time, as well as physical education, sports sessions and whilst on excursions.
Children without a hat will be asked to spend their recess and lunch breaks in the shaded area near the canteen.
Direct purchases of school hats from the office are available for $15.50 each. All hats should be clearly labelled with the child’s name and room number so they can be easily returned, if misplaced.
Please ensure that your child has applied sunscreen prior to coming to school.
Sentral - payments update
We are pleased to share our school bank details so that parents can make payments without having to pay any fees.
Whilst Sentral offers easy and convenient payments for excursions, camps etc. via Credit Card or Direct Debit, charges apply which go directly to Sentral.
A new addition to all payment requests which will incur no fees, will be the display of the Wembley PS Banking details if you wish to pay via direct bank deposit included on all excursion notifications and reminder emails, an example can be found below:
E.g. payment: The cost for this activity is $10.00, this can be paid via the Sentral Portal: https://wembleyps.sentral.com.au/portal2/#!/login

Front Loading Students
In place of calling the office in the middle of the day, families are requested to please front load their children at the start of the school day.
This covers who will pick up the student at the end of the day and, if participating in the aftercare program, or where to meet after school.
Also checking that lunch and drink bottles are in the students school bag before leaving home in the morning.
Parents are asked to only call the office or email the classroom teacher if there is a last minute change and that the student is not aware of the changes.
Late arrival/Early departure process
Students arriving late to school are required to enter the School via the Office to obtain a late pass. Parents are asked to bring their child/ren into the Office if late.

When picking up children early, parents and guardians are required enter via the office and complete an early departure slip.
The office staff will place a call through to the classroom and arrange for the student to come up to the office.
