SPANISH NEWS

This week we spent two weeks building knowledge about the book “A que sabe la luna? What does the moon taste like? This is a fable about cooperation, the advantages of being insignificant in size and appearance, and perspective, enjoying the funny humour by an amusing moon. It is about teamwork, and the animals achieve their dream thanks to the fact that they work cooperatively. The value of effort is also conveyed through the story, which is very close to them since they experience it every day.

We used stories to introduce topics we would be learning in class, which intrigued students because they like animals. Students also crafted animals mentioned in the story and participated in group activities to help them cooperate and learn how to work in a team.
