Mazenod Old Boys (MOB) vs Mazenod Junior Basketball Club (MJBC)

Its back!!!!

Since Covid, the annual Mazenod Old Boys (MOB) vs Mazenod Junior Basketball Club (MJBC) basketball game has not been played, but with great pleasure we're happy to say

it’s back!

This Saturday from 1pm, Mazenod Gymnasium.

Come along and support these teams to see who comes off as the 

2023 Mitchell Delle Coste Basketball Trophy winner.

Footy Tipping

Another round which proved problematic for most tipsters. Out of eight games we had two people who did exceptionally well and managed to get seven correct and a further four people who got six. Rheed Muncey and Jayden Benham (Class of 2010) both got seven and were both two points off the margin in St Kilda’s win over Sydney and as such get $25 each.  Congratulations Rheed and Jayden.

With regards to the overall leader board, Brady Rafferty (Class of 2021) has retaken the lead on 80, Jacob Campbell (Class of 2015) is just one behind on 79 with two people on 78.

Round 14

There are only six games this week but it still won’t be easy with two or three of those games likely to take some time to think through.  Please note Round 14 starts THURSDAY.

Port Adelaide v Geelong

Port are in great form but Geelong are coming off the bye and should get a few players back;

Brisbane v Sydney

Both teams coming off disappointing losses, but surely Brisbane at home will prove too strong;

GWS v Fremantle

One of those difficult games to predict with any confidence that I mentioned earlier;

Richmond v St Kilda

St Kilda’s last nine games have gone WLWLWLWLW and Richmond has won its last two games, should be close;

Carlton v Gold Coast

Carlton has now lost six in a row and sit fourth last on the AFL ladder, Gold Coast are four points outside the top eight;

North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have lost their last three but surely they can bounce back and win this game.
