VET Pathways & Workplace Learning
Over the next week the Year 10 students will have the opportunity to explore a range of opportunities available to them in Year 11 & 12. I would encourage all students to explore the MyPath website and spend time researching the information that has been provided.
Not only do the Year 10 students have the chance to enrol in courses provided by RTO's, the current Year 11 students also have one year courses available to them. I will be meeting with the students over the coming weeks to discuss their options. Please encourage your son to speak to me about any questions they might have.
This year we are hosting the inaugural Mazenod MyPath Careers Expo. Students from Mazenod and St Brigid’s, in all years are welcome to attend this event between 3:10-5:30pm on Tuesday 20 June. There will be over 30 different companies providing you information on courses, support services and employment opportunities. We hope to see you all there.
Workplace Learning
During Weeks 5 & 6 the Year 11 & 12 General students were on Workplace Learning. They were all able to experience a variety of industries and challenge themselves outside of the classroom. On behalf of Mazenod College we would like to thank all the participating businesses that have given our boys a chance to step into the world of work.
Industry & Enterprise - Workplace Learning
This week the Industry and Enterprise students completed their second work placement in a variety of industries. What a great opportunity to explore that world of work and find their pathway.
