Principal's message

As the last day of term 2 approaches, I'd like to share some news regarding changes to staffing at Echuca Twin Rivers School for semester 2. After much deliberation, Jalisa Baldwin has made the difficult decision to leave her role as a teacher at Echuca Twin Rivers Primary School at the end of Term 2. She has been successful appointed a new teaching position in a remote school in the Northern Territory. 

We wish Jalisa the best of luck in her new role and know that she will be an asset at her new school in the NT.

We have been and are currently making arrangements for 1/2A for semester 2. We will be making announcements in the upcoming weeks. 

We also say goodbye (for the short term) to Kym Mundie who is taking on alternative adventures during term 3. We hope to welcome Kym back from term 4 onwards.

New Staff

I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce our new staff at Echuca Twin Rivers School. Tameeka Stadon has joined us and is teaching part time in 1/2 and 5/6 throughout this year. Nicole Mitchell has taking on the role as 5/6C's classroom teacher for the remainder of the term. We have two new education support staff to the school, Georgie Pain and Kym Gerrard. 

We are excited by these new appointments and know that we have added valuable assets to our school community.

Incursion/Excursions Process

Please continue to support the organisation of incursions and excursions at the school by ensuring that you have given permission and payment for your child/ren to attend prior to the due date outlined of the excursion form. This is imperative to ensure the event is organised and coordinated in a manner that ensures the safety and engagement of all students involved. Where permission and payment isn't received within the timelines specified, it may lead to your child/ren not attending.

Please ensure you are connected to the parent portal/app of SENTRAL to ensure you have access to this process.

We have many events still to come for term 2. Please keep informed through our important term dates and facebook posts regarding these events.

Newsletter

You may have noticed our fortnightly newsletters becoming more and more engaging and informative for our community. Please encourage friends and family to access the newsletter to keep updated on all the amazing happenings of ETRS.

Foundation 2024 Enrolments 

All enrolment documents are available to download from our website. You may also contact the school and we can send the information to you via email or the post. 

If you know of any families who are interested in enrolling, please ask them to contact the school.

Applications for 2024 Prep Enrolments are required to the school by July 28th.
