Love of Reading Excursion

Forty Year 6 students who have a LOVE of reading ventured over the road to Vitality Bloom Nursery to read amongst the newly planted glasshouses, twisted roots of giant figs and sunny grassy patches. These students have been active home readers and above all, LOVE reading. They were quick to settle into their chosen book, and time passed so easily - we had to hurry back in time for the busses!

We are so proud of the great reading habits our students have developed. Thank you to the families that have supported our focus on building a love of reading. It is a skill for life!

Thank you, Alica Kook from Vitality Bloom for having us. Year 5 will be visiting the nursery next Friday to get lost in a chapter or two!

Stage 3 plan to have more LOVE of READING excursions - will your child join us next time?
