Year 7 LOTE

As an end to Semester 1, LOTE students utilised their knowledge, skills and cultural understanding to teach each other Indonesian and Italian. 

Students from the two different LOTE groups and language support students at Year 7 were involved in creating and sharing learning activities. Some students played Kahootz, others created ‘find-a-word’ puzzles, and others had their writing books and textbooks to show each other. This was a great and fun session where students were able to learn something new from their peers. Italian students had the opportunity to learn some Indonesian and Indonesian students had the experience of learning Italian. 

Students thoroughly enjoyed this cross cultural experience. It not only provided them with an experience to treasure, it also strengthened their friendships and language skills.
