Prayer

God of Winter,

We pray in thanks for those 

of hope around us.

In the midst of this lifetime,

Remind us that you still live.

You are present in the grey, bleak skies

and your spirit blows in the freezing wind.

The wonder of your being can be seen in each rain drop and each bare, black branch.

All these wintery signs are footsteps to new life in the season of Spring.
