Performing Arts Co-Curricular Program

Welcome to Term 3! We hope all our staff and students are feeling refreshed after the term break.

Creative Music Lessons

Piano and violin lessons re-commenced this week, and we welcomed Max Crosby, who is replacing Annie Bui, who is overseas in America on a music-based trip. Annie will return in Week 3. I am sure she will return with many great stories to share with her students about the music industry in the US.

Performing Arts Ensembles

All ensembles recommence rehearsals in Week 2, with the exception of Concert Band, who will start in Week 3. We are preparing for a range of performances, including Brigidine Day, our end of semester Showcase, and the end of year Mass. The highlight of our next Showcase will be a whole Performing Arts performance where all students enrolled in lessons or an ensemble will perform a piece together. Rehearsals for that piece will start soon, and we are excited for the chance to continue to rebuild our team spirit after two years of mostly remote work.

We look forward to seeing everyone over the next couple of weeks! If you have any questions about the Performing Arts Co-Curricular Program please feel free to contact me at the College.
