This term in Science Bottlebrush will be exploring different types of movement. They will be investigating how our bodies move and which objects roll the most easily. Sturt Desert Peas are exploring different ways heat can transfer from one object to another by completing a wide variety of experiments. Towards the end of the term they will make their own ovens! Eucalyptus are exploring circuits and different materials electricity or energy can travel through. This week they made their own simple circuits which turned a light bulb on.

Art

This term in Art students have been focusing on sculpture and different materials they can work with to make a range of sculptural effects. Bottlebrush have been working with paper to create pop up cards. Sturt Desert Peas have been working on their own mini dioramas and how to create depth with paper. Eucalyptus have been making radial paper relief sculptures which require a lot of focus and determination. Students will work with salt dough and recycled materials to continue their exploration into all this sculpture!
