Science News

In Science, the year 8s have been exploring the human body and the amazing things it does to make us live, grow and repair. This resulted in a rat dissection which was met with much excitement from the year 8s (and some apprehension!). The year 11 psychology classes also completed an eye dissection in class as a revision tool for the topic of sight. The year 7s have been exploring the differences between solids, liquids and gases. The year 9s have been looking at the pH scale and making different indicators to test for pH (including tea). The year 10 Biology class extracted DNA from strawberries and Kiwi fruit. We are looking to many more exciting activities in Science for the rest of the term.
