Senior Subject Selections

The subject selection process for 2023 has gained momentum this week with the distribution of Senior Handbooks and Subject Selection Information Sessions for all Year 9-11 students and families.

The timeline for release of information and parent sessions is as follows:

• Tuesday homeroom - Year 9, 10 & 11 students receive Senior Handbook
• Tuesday Lesson 2 - Year 11 Subject Information session
• Wednesday Lesson 1 - Year 9 Subject Information session
• Wednesday Lesson 2 - Year 10 Subject Information session
• Wednesday 6pm - Senior Pathways Parent Information Evening
• Thursday through until 29th July - Year 10 Subject Interviews
• August 10 - Online Subject selections close

This Senior Curriculum Handbook provides valuable information to support senior subject and pathway choices at Trinity College.

When choosing a course of study, students should focus on the following:

Content: What is studied in this subject? Refer to the description of the units in this Handbook.

Interest: Will I like this subject?

Ability: Will I manage this combination of subjects? Will I manage the workload?

Future: Will this combination of subjects lead me to an appealing career? Are there any prerequisite subjects for university courses in which I am interested?
