Dear Parents,  

I hope that you have had a great start to Term 3.  This week, our Year 3 and 4 children had their production night.  They have been so excited and the props looked amazing. 

Church Drive Through

Just another reminder that families using the church circular driveway in the morning, are to drop their child off and keep moving to allow other families to do the same.  It is very important that this area keeps moving to allow others to get to work on time or pick up other children.   Also, please observe the 'no standing' area near the Robb St crossing in the morning and afternoon.

These 'no standing' areas are there to ensure visibility at the crossing.

The Council will be coming around to check compliance and we don't want anyone to receive an infringement notice.

Closure Day

This term, we have scheduled two closure days.  Our first closure day is on Monday 1st August where the staff will be looking at the area of spelling.  Recently, all Catholic Schools were given permission to have another day this term.  At Holy Name we have decided to take Monday August 29th also as a closure day.  This will allow our staff to plan for Term 4 rather than spread it over a week as we have been. Getting emergency teachers to replace those out of their classroom is getting very difficult.

Postponement of Grandparents Day

It is with great sadness that we are having to postpone Grandparents day.  Due to the rise in colds, flu and covid, we have decided that the risk is currently too high.  Unfortunately, most grandparents are in the vulnerable category and I would hate to be responsible for something happening to them. 

ASSEMBLY

We now have assembly back on in the Hall every Monday at 2:30pm.  We welcome all parents. 

RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS

We are sending RATs home again today (some children received theirs yesterday).

TERM 3 FEE STATEMENTS

Your Term 3 Statement was sent to you via email yesterday.  If you didn't receive it, please let the office know.

BOOKCLUB ISSUE 5

If your child wishes to order, please send the order form & cash to school with your child  OR  place an order online.

All orders must be in by 3.30pm, Friday 29 July.  

Sorry,  late orders cannot be accepted.

HELP NEEDED FOR YR 5 & 6 PRODUCTION - SET DESIGN

If any parents are interested in helping with the set design for the production, we would appreciate your assistance.  Please see Caroline or Derryn.

Lots of jumpers & windcheaters with the names of students who left here a long time ago!    Our Lost property basket is OVERFLOWING!

If your child has lost an item of clothing, please come and look in the basket (in the office corridor)

We also have a collection of lunch containers without names, please send your child to the lost property basket to check....

ACADEMY UNIFORM SHOP

If you order online (our password is - reservoir), or by phone with your credit card, Academy will deliver the item to the school (usually ONLY once a week), at no extra delivery cost.
