Special Note:  Fr Kingsley will be traveling back to Nigeria this week.  His sister is taking her special vows to becomes a nun.  Therefore, please note the changes to Mass Times over the coming weeks.   Fr Ross O'Brien will be supplying our Parish whilst Fr Kingsley is away.  We pray for Fr Kingsley's safe travel and return.

Mary MacKillop Relic

Our parishioner and friend, Mr John Kerklaan, was able to secure a relic from the original coffin of Mary of the Cross MacKillop when it was exhumed and relocated to the North Sydney venue at MacKillop Place.  Mr Kerklaan created a beautiful frame to house the authenticity certificate and relic which can be seen in St Brigid's Church.

19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Father, deepen our trust in you, so we may live joyfully and with courage.

This coming Saturday 6th August is the Transfiguration of the Lord.  This is a very powerful moment in the course of His earthly ministry when the divine nature and glory, which He possessed prior to coming to earth in the human body, was manifested in front of the three disciples Peter James and John.  

Lord Jesus Christ, we believe that You are our Lord and Saviour. We pray that You rekindle our faith and trust in You so that we may continue with the work that You have commanded us to do. Amen.

Grandparents Day 2022
