Student Wellbeing attends MATILDA!

Well done to all the amazing students and staff who performed in and worked tirelessly behind the scenes in the production of Matilda. Our student wellbeing team attended the event on Friday night and were blown away by the talent of the cast. It is 5 stars from us!

1000 Hearts Project - donation

This week we received a beautiful package of hand sewn hearts as part of the 1000 Hearts Project. A special thank you to one of our lovely parents, Nadia Chiomento, who recognised that our students could benefit with some extra love, kindness, and compassion. If you would like to read more about the project, or would like to become a ‘Heartist’, please check out the 1000 hearts website.

Upcoming Celebration and Awareness Days

We have some exciting awareness days our school will help celebrate this term. We are looking for students to contribute ideas for how the school can celebrate these events.

  • Wear it Purple Day on Friday 26 August: A day to foster supportive, safe, empowering, and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.
  • R U OKAY Day on Thursday 8 September: A day to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with those who may be struggling.

If you would like to suggest a way the school can celebrate these days or have time to volunteer on the day, please see the wellbeing staff in M11.
