Year 3/4

With the Year 5/6's out at Hoop Time on Monday, Mietta stepped up to run our Monday Morning assembly. Mietta did a wonderful job running the assembly for the F-3 students. Thank you Mietta and well done! 

This week we have been looking at interesting ways to start our writing pieces. We went to the library and each looked at lots of different picture story books and novels to gather some inspiration. We found lots of really interesting ways to start our writing aiming to get our readers excited. In Spelling, we have been focussing on the /ee/ sound and all the different spelling combinations that make this sound. 

In Maths, we have been learning about right angles. We discovered how many right angles we each have in our names.
