Parents & FriendsĀ

šThe Great Book Swap is on again.Ā
To coincide with Indigenous Literacy Day, the school will be running a second hand book stall on Thursday the 8th of September.Ā
Itās time to start hunting through your bookshelves and donating any books that you are no longer interested in rereading.Ā
Donations of books can be left at the front office.Ā Please have all donations in by Friday 26th of August.Ā
We will be sorting booking into age levels on Tuesday 30th August and Wednesday 31st of August and any volunteers to help with sorting will be most welcome. We will also need some help on Thursday 8th September to run the book stall, so please get in touch if youāre interested in helping.Ā
Ā
āļø The next P&F Meeting will be held on Monday 22nd of August at 5pm. Up for discussion will be organising the Book Stall, the Fathers Day Stall, Kinder & School Disco, as well as addressing community engagement and any feedback. Everyone is welcome to these meetings. If you have something youād like discussed at the meetingĀ but canāt make it, please feel free to contact either me or the office beforehand.Ā
Ā
šIāve popped the Cake Raffle Roster for the rest of the year up in the parent Facebook Group and there is a printed copy up in the school foyer. If youāre able to donate a prize for one of the raffle dates, it would be really appreciated. I do realise that some of our families might not be in a position to give any extra at the moment.Ā
The Cake Raffle is on Wednesdays for the Juniors, and Fridays for the Seniors, and the winners are drawn at Assembly. Tickets are 20c each or 6 for $1.Ā
Thank you very much to Meredith NeilsonĀ for donating last weekās prize. The total amount raised was $9.80.Ā
Ā
š„£Ā Now more than ever, some of our school families might be struggling financially. If this is you, please donāt hesitate to reach out to Jess who is our Community Services Representative. She will maintain the strictest of privacyĀ and can help with getting food on the table for your family.Ā You might need help with school snacks or lunches, or even dinners for the week.Ā
Similarly, if you find yourself in a secure financialĀ place at the moment, you might like to reach out to Jess to see how you can provide confidential support to others in our community. You can email Jess at:Ā
