GRADE 5/6 NETBALL EXCURSION

The Grade 5/6 students will be heading to the State Netball Centre (10 Brens Drive, Parkville)  tomorrow for a Netball  Clinic. This is a great opportunity for students to experience Netball clinics at the home of Netball. Students will get the chance to attend the new, state of the art, State Netball Centre (SNC) and train on the same courts the Melbourne Vixens train and play on. The students will learn netball skills, tour the world class facility and develop an understanding of what it takes to become an elite athlete.

DISTRICT 5/6 BASKETBALL

On Friday 29th July 2022, 17 students participated in the Hooptime Basketball District Competition. We had an excited group of boys and girls who took to the courts against other schools in our district. Our boys team won 3 games and lost 2 and our girls team were undefeated. Unfortunately, the girls were not able to complete their run of wins, losing to St Raphael's in the Grand Final.  We are so proud of all the efforts of our students and the way they represented Holy Name with good sportsmanship and fair play.

GOOD SPORT AWARD

Students will be presented with their award at Assembly for demonstrating good sportsmanship and use of dispositions during formal and informal sporting activities.
