Christmas Giving at St Pius X College

Thank you to the extended St Pius X community for your generous support of our Christmas Giving in 2021. Each year group has been able to provide assistance to some many organisations that work particularly with those on the margins. We especially want to thank our Junior School students who have been handmaking cards to go with the “Snack Packs” they made for distribution by St Vincent de Paul on their Night Patrol in Woy Woy. Each of the cards had a personalised message of support for the recipient that culminated in the learning about human dignity and respect – particularly of the most marginalised in our society.

Deliveries will commence at the beginning of next week. Please keep your eyes open in future Woodchatta issues for photos of our deliveries.

Closing Mass

Preparations are well underway for our Closing Mass that will be celebrated on Friday 3 December in the Junior School playground for our Years 7 to 10 students. This will be an opportunity to recognise our new Eucharistic Ministers, as well for these Year 10 students to commence their work as ministers of the Church. This celebration also provides us with time to thank Fr David Ranson who has worked tirelessly in 2021 to support St Pius X College through a difficult year.
