P & F News

JOSIE SERVELLO

Hello from the P&F.

With the end of the year fast approaching the P&F is grateful that we are all back at school together and that we get to finish off the school year with two fundraising activities – ‘Crazy Camel’s Artwork’ and our yearly ‘Christmas Raffle’. We also get to welcome back our ‘Second-hand Uniform Stalls’ AND ‘Icy Pole FriYAY’s’. Thank you in advance for supporting us with these upcoming activities.

Upcoming Events – Term 4

Friday 12th November – Crazy Camel Artwork Fundraiser

Thursday 18th November – Uniform Stall 1 (Surnames A-K)

Friday 19th November – Uniform Stall 2 (Surnames L-Z)

Friday 10th December – Christmas Raffle Draw

Crazy Camel Artwork Fundraiser

We want to thank you in advance for your support with this last-minute fundraiser we have decided to run. It’s quite simple actually… your child needs to create a masterpiece of art (using crayon, texta or paint) on the template provided by Crazy Camel and return it to their classroom teacher NO LATER than Friday 12th November.

Their artwork will then be transformed into your choice of either (or all of) a tea towel, calendar, notebook, sketchpad, tote bag, pillowcase, greeting cards or diary. These are great keepsakes and even better Christmas present ideas for grandparents / loved ones. You can order as many of each product as you like, per child. Ordering and payment needs to be completed online at https://www.crazycamel.com.au/10296 no later than FRIDAY 12th NOVEMBER (apologies but order/payment cannot be accepted after this date). On the provided link you will also find the cost of each product, ranging from $14 - $25.

Completed products will then be delivered to the school on Friday 10th December.

Again, thank you for your support!

Second-Hand Uniform Stalls

Stall 1: Thursday 18th November in Hawthorn St Yard @2:45pm – 3:45pm for family surnames A-K.

Stall 2: Friday 19th November in Hawthorn St Yard @2:45pm – 3:45pm for family surnames L-Z.

Upon arrival to the stall, you will be required to sign in, sanitise your hands and social distance as you wait for your turn. Please remember to bring your own bag and the correct change for purchases as money handling limited. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your willingness to follow the above guidelines as we aim to provide a uniform stall that will keep us all safe and in line with government regulations.

* We would also like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK-YOU to all the families who continue to donate their pre-loved school uniforms, it is much appreciated. However, we would also like to make you aware of the condition that we require the school uniforms to be in, for re-sale:

  • Please ensure that the uniforms you are donating are of a clean, school quality standard with no major stains, rips or fading.
  • Please, NO SOCKS or JOCKS!
  • If possible, please ensure they are washed and ready for sale.

We simply request that you forward any uniform that you would comfortably allow your own child to wear. In addition to this, if we end up with too many items that we need to dispose of, it adds to unwanted landfill, which is an environmental concern and furthermore becomes a school COST to remove. Many thanks.
