FREE PRESENTATION FOR ANYONE SUPERVISING A LEARNER DRIVER!

 

More than a Licence – Everything a Supervising Driver needs to know, is part of the Road Smart Program and aimed at parents, guardians, friends and family members who are supervising a Learner Driver. The session will be presented online, by a representative from the Department of Transport.

 

This one hour session on Thursday 31 March (6pm - 7pm) covers a range of topics, with practical information and helpful tips on:

  • The Safe System and how the Graduating Licencing System works
  • why it is a good idea to take a staged approach to learning
  • the importance of choosing a safe vehicle
  • how you can help your learner on their Ls now to reduce their risk of crashing on their Ps
  • and tips to help your learner stay calm and drive safely.

Learners are encouraged to attend with their supervising driver, helping them develop a good foundation for a lifetime of safe driving. The session is suitable for all supervising drivers, Learners and Pre-Learners (Years 9-12).

 

Interested participants MUST register by emailing roadsmart@roads.vic.gov.au. A link will then be forwarded that can be used to access the session.
