Held at Melbourne Showgrounds, the Victorian Careers Show 2021 is Australia's biggest education and careers expo, now in its 29th year! May 14th Sign-up sheet in the Senior Study Centre.
Year 10 Work Experience
Monday 7 June – Friday 11 June
In Term 2, all Year 10 students will undertake one week of work experience as part of their Careers subject (unless restrictions due to COVID 19 come into place again). At Woodmans Hill we work with students to achieve success in all aspects of their learning, and completion of work experience is an important and valuable component of a student’s career/life skills development.
Students have been working in their Careers class towards this week of work placement, however, students are encouraged to organize and meet with prospective employers in their own time.
Assistance is available from the Careers Office if needed.
Please note: Year 10 VCAL students will not participate in the Year 10 Work Experience Program.
Woodmans Hill will be running an excursion to the Victorian Careers Show. The excursion is especially suited to students in year 10 and 11. There is a sign-up sheet in the Senior Study Centre. Please add your name asap if you are interested.
The inaugural Victorian Careers Show will be held on Friday 14 May 2021 and Saturday 15 May 2021, 9am-3pm in Exhibition Pavilion 1 at Melbourne Showgrounds. The new event features over 100 exhibitors, seminars on VCE subjects, career, employment and study advice.
If you would like to return to the Show at any other time you can collect a re-entry ticket from the Ticket Booth.
As part of our COVID-safe plan, it is now a requirement that all persons entering the Show complete a registration form.
