A message from our Principal

Dear Parents,

Mini-Fete

Congratulations to our Year 6 students and Stage 3 teachers on a very successful mini-fete. A total of $3721.21 was raised! Such an amazing result!

This money will go towards the Year 6 gift to the school.

Presentation Day

This year's Presentation Day will take place, Tuesday 8th December in the McMullen Hall.

There will be three separate ceremonies spread out throughout the day, commencing at:

9:30 -   Early Stage 1 and Stage 1

10:30 - Stage 2

12:15 - Stage 3.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, parents will be unable to attend.

All ceremonies, however, will be live-streamed and available for you to access. Greer Films will be filming and live-streaming the ceremonies for us.

You will be able to access the live streams on Tuesday from 9:00 am through the link below.

We will post this link to our Facebook page on Monday as well.

Green Award Winners

Our Green Award Morning Teas were postponed throughout the year.

On Monday and Tuesday of Week 10, we will have a movie afternoon to thank the award winners from each term. This will take place in the McMullen Hall.

Monday 2:00-3:00 - Early Stage 1 and Stage 1

Tuesday 2:00-3:00 - Stage 2 and Stage 3

Food will be in individual packages, to comply with COVID regulations.

Congratulations to all of these students.

Term 4 winners will be announced next week.

Class Parties

Due to restrictions around sharing food, our end of year class parties will look different.

This year has been like no other.  Despite the challenges, our school community of students, parents, and teachers have worked together to ensure we have much to celebrate.  To thank everyone for their patience, courage, and compassion, we will be supplying the food and drink for students.

Class parties will take place on Wednesday, 16th December.  Each student will receive an iceblock, bag of lollies, packet of chips, and a popper.

Students do not have to wear school uniforms on this day.

If parents give permission, Year 6s may bring their shirts in to sign on this day.

Year 6 Presentation of Bears and Graduation Certificates and Farewell Tunnel

Year 6 will receive their P&C graduation gift and certificates on the last day of school, Wednesday, 16th December at 9:30 am. This will take place outside under the COLA in front of the entire school.  This will give all students a chance to celebrate the last day of primary school for our Year 6s.

The traditional Year 6 tunnel will take place at 2:30 pm.  This year, we will hold the tunnel along the front of the school - George Street.

This will allow parents to watch from the footpath.
