Reflections on Faith

From the desk of the Religious Education Coordinator - Miss McMeniman

Week 4:

Over the past two weeks we have been very fortunate to have Father John McHue visiting us as Father Gleeson has been away. Father John came and spoke to all students across the school, engaging in worthy discussions and conversations. We would like to say a massive thank you to Father John for taking the time out of your day to come and speak with us whilst you have been here in Glen Innes.

Week 6 is Catholic Schools Week. This week also sees us celebrating 200 years of Catholic education in Australia. As this is a milestone and a grand celebration, we will be celebrating across the week. Key dates to remember:

Monday 24th our Year 6 students will be travelling to Armidale to participate in the Catholic Schools Week mass alongside students and staff from across the diocese.

Thursday 27th is OLDEN DAYS DRESS UP day! Get thinking about an outfit that may have been worn back 200 years ago! Students and staff will also engage in an afternoon of sports which students 200 years ago would have enjoyed.

It is bound to be a fantastic week and it would be fantastic to see a range of outfits displayed on the Thursday!
