Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)

The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data is a collection of data related to school students with disability (NCCD). It is a process which occurs every year. The NCCD requires schools to identify students in their setting who require support due to having a cognitive, social emotional, sensory or physical disability. These relate to legislative requirements under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005, in line with the NCCD guidelines (2019).

The NCCD provides State and Federal Governments with the information they need, to plan more broadly for the support of students with disability.

Further information is available on the NCCD portal, https://www.nccd.edu.au.
