The 1/2 Students have working very hard at home.  In writing they have been trying to persuade their teachers as to why we should go on an excursion to Disneyland.  In Maths the students have been making enclosures and calculating the area.  They students have also been working on a book response to Hey Little Ant. Here are some examples of the amazing work they have been doing.

Performing Arts - 'Our School's Got Talent'

In Performing Arts this week Students were asked to share their talent.  Some ideas were playing an instrument, singing a song, telling a story and many more. We have a very talented group of students at st Brigid's Primary School.

Triple Jump - Triple jump is one of the hardest athletics jumps to master. It combines 4 different skills in the one jump. First there is the run up, then a hop, a step and finally a jump.  Here are the results of the triple jump competition.

Virtual Race Around Australia - First Week Results

It's not too late to join our virtual race around Australia.  All you need to do is calculate the number of minutes your family has exercised from Wednesday to Wednesday and send me an email with the total number of minutes exercise (on Wednesday) and I will put you on the map!  Really good to see some families participating!
