Visual Arts

THE EARTH, WITHOUT ART, IS JUST EH....

So many of us are feeling a bit eh.... Students, parents and teachers!  Make art,  people! It helps a bit. Make more art and it keeps helping. Get a bit messy. It'll clean up. Stretch your skills in new ways. You never know where it will take you. Lose, or find yourself, in FLOW using a repetitive, creative skill, like knitting, or crochet. Notice that the word "recreation" has "creation" in it. Being creative is play, rest and restoration all in one!

It has been very pleasing to see an increase in the numbers of children completing their art work in this past week. I know that many of these children have a great sense of pride, accomplishment and joy in their work.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK
