National Science Week is Australia's annual celebration of science and technology.  It promotes and encourages interest in science, technology and innovation, engineering and mathematics. 

This year is a bit different but we can stay at home and celebrate the National Science Week with our wonderful STEM professionals and great heroes at the comfort of your home. 

Take a deep dive into science and discover lots of fun and exciting online resources, events, activities, virtual tours, webcasts, talks, DIY science experiments, puzzles, quizzes and competitions to keep you and your children active and entertained at home.

Sydney Science Trail Interactive Virtual Science Experience

Theme: Adaptation and featuring areas  including First Nations science, climate change, environmental science and biodiversity. 

The Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney have collaborated and  created an exciting and adventurous FREE online virtual experience for all children in Australia. 

The trail is bubbling over with immersive games, live streamed talks, explosive science shows, tours and more..
